2026 BSRA Jocoy/Lynn Tournament
Overview
Since 2009, the BSRA has opened the season by honoring one of Buffalo’s most dedicated players, Ed Jocoy—four-time City A Champion, nationally ranked Veteran’s Division competitor, and longtime BSRA Board member and two-time President. His passion for the game and service to our squash community inspired the original naming of this tournament.
In 2024, we added the name of Richard Lynn—long-time player, supporter, and generous contributor to Buffalo squash. Together, they represent the spirit and camaraderie that make this community special. Let’s celebrate the kickoff to the squash season with this great tournament.
Registration is now OPEN! There are limited spots in this tournament, so don’t delay.

Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: Squash play: 11am-4pm / After party: 4-7pm
Venues: Buffalo T&S, Buffalo Club and the Saturn Club
Deadline to register: Thursday, October 15
*Registrants must be a paying member of US Squash.
Format & Draws
Targeting 16 doubles players and 15 singles players.
The competition committee will create balanced draws for fair, exciting play.
Doubles players will be assigned a partner — please indicate your preferred wall.
Singles players will be divided into three teams for round-robin matches.
Celebration
After play wraps up, join us at Cole’s on Elmwood for the post-tournament celebration. We’ll hand out a little hardware, raise a glass, and share stories from the day.
Entry & Perks
Entry fee: $32
Includes tournament play, after-party pass, and a commemorative t-shirt.
Guests are welcome at the party for $15 each.
