2025 Buffalo Club Pro Doubles Recap

The 2025 Buffalo Club Pro Doubles, held from May 1–4 at The Buffalo Club, brought the SDA Pro Tour regular season to a thrilling close. Featuring a $30,000 purse and a draw packed with elite talent, the event showcased high-level doubles squash at its finest.

Tournament Highlights

Defending Champions Shine
Top seeds and defending champions James Stout and Scott Arnold, the current world No. 1 team, lived up to expectations. After dropping the first game in the final to second seeds Adam Bews and Matt Henderson, they rallied to win the next three games and successfully defend their title in style.

Rising Stars Emerge
Daelum Mawji and Charles Culhane made headlines with a straight-game upset over the No. 3 seeds, Elroy Leong and Kyle Martino, in the quarterfinals. Their run continued into the semifinals, where they took a game off the experienced duo of Bews and Henderson before bowing out 3-1.

Semifinal Showdowns
In the top half, Stout and Arnold overcame Josh Hughes and Tor Christoffersen, their frequent training partners, in a clinical semifinal performance. Meanwhile, Bews and Henderson defeated Mawji and Culhane to set up a highly anticipated final.

Championship Match
The final delivered on its promise, with Bews and Henderson striking first. But the defending champs showed their poise and experience, turning the match around to win in four games and claim back-to-back Buffalo titles.
