The BSRA City Junior Tournament brought together junior players from across Buffalo for a great weekend of competition, sportsmanship and exciting matches across multiple age divisions.
The event showcased the continued growth of junior squash in Western New York, with players competing in boys’ and girls’ divisions from under-13 through under-19.

Several matches stood out throughout the tournament. In the BU17 division, Nang Lian and Milan Travers battled for third place in one of the most exciting matches of the weekend. The two players alternated wins before Nang pulled out a tight fifth game to secure the match 3-2.
The GU13 division also delivered several exciting matches, with each player finishing 1-1 in the round robin. Two of the three matches in the division went the distance to five games.
A huge thank you goes to Pamicka Marinello and Ryan Cody for all of their tremendous efforts throughout the event. We would not have been able to pull this off without you. An extra thank you to Pamicka for allowing us to use the Nardin courts for the tournament.
We would also like to thank all of our junior coaches for encouraging players to sign up and compete. Your support continues to help grow the game and create more opportunities for junior players across Buffalo.
And, of course, thank you to Alan for taking photos once again and for your continued dedication to squash in Buffalo.
