6. How is the league structured?

The singles league is divided into A/B, C, and D divisions with commissioners overseeing each group. Matches are scheduled weekly from November through February (holiday weeks skipped), and players are expected to complete them on time.

All results are recorded in ClubLocker, the national platform run by US Squash. ClubLocker keeps player records, rankings, and schedules in one place.

8. What are the BSRA fees?

Annual dues are $150 per year, which goes primarily to US Squash membership fees and the BSRA receives a small percentage of these dues. To participate in ranked tournaments and league play, you must hold an active US Squash membership. Additionally, starting in 2026, the BSRA has added an additional fee of $7 that goes directly to all of the local tournaments and events we hold each year. To learn more about this, read here.

9. What are my dues used for?

Your dues cover the administrative and operational costs of running tournaments, awards, events, and leagues. Importantly, all BSRA organizers are volunteers — every dollar goes directly back into keeping Buffalo squash vibrant and growing.

10. My child is interested in squash, but their school doesn’t offer a program. Can they play through BSRA?

Yes! BSRA has a thriving junior program. We can connect parents with junior coaches at local clubs and help find opportunities for clinics, lessons, and court time.
